Cowley's Financial Aid Sucks

The Past

I had my first brush with the esteemed Cowley financial aid people last year. Being the lucky guy that I am, I get 1000 dollars just for being an Indian. Everyone should have celebrated this fact. But no, those Cowley people tried to steal my birthright. Their computer system showed that 1000 dollars did indeed enter my account, however it conveniently forgot to "apply" it to my account. The result of this was that the money just disappeared until I went in later to complain. They gave me my money and I left slightly annoyed.

The Present

You have all just traveled in time, I think. Anyway, they sent me a bill saying that I had absolutely no scholarships and owed them 1000 dollars. Heh, I was going to complain right away until I realized it was Friday and Cowley's offices are closed on Fridays. So I had to wait until today to complain. They told me that my scholarship had been renewed, accepted but not "transmitted". They are now trying to rectify this problem. I think that Cowley devised this 4 step method of renewing, accepting, transmitting and applying just to guarantee that one of the four steps would most likely go wrong and that maybe some people would be cheated out of their money. The Future

Ummm...robots attack and very easily take over the world. 50 years later aliens come down and wipe out the robot threat. The aliens then mysteriously die. The cause of their death is later found to be a weird allergic reaction to water that could have easily been prevented if they had watched more of our movies. Humans come back into power, cause more global warming which in turn causes the upper United States to freeze over. This also could have been prevented if we had paid attention to our own movies.
